Splitting Edges Poster

This conceptual poster was created as a passion project inspired by the indie band Splitting Edges. The design reinterprets the Union Jack through a fragmented, expressive lens to reflect the band’s London roots. The aesthetic aims to capture a sense of distortion and defiance, aligning with the tone of their music. The poster layout was developed in Illustrator, with further treatment and texture applied in Photoshop. Grain overlays, layering techniques and distressed elements were used to build atmosphere and create a design that could function as both a promotional poster and alternative album artwork.
